We are so very saddened to hear of the passing of the amazing artist dubbed the "French Elvis" - Johnny Hallyday. In a career spanning 57 years, Hallyday completed 181 tours, had 18 platinum albums, and sold more than 110 million records worldwide, making him one of the world's best-selling artists of all time. He recorded his 1984 album, Nashville En Direct, here at the Sound Emporium and had such notable guests as Emmylou Harris, Tony Joe White, Don Everly and the Stray Cats with Carl Perkins. Here is a photo from the Stray Cats and Carl Perkins session. Johnny is on the far right. RIP, Johnny. You will be missed!
