Busbee wrote 14 songs that broke Billboard's Hot 100 chart including "Try" performed by P!nk, which reached No. 9, and "H.O.L.Y" performed by Florida Georgia Line, which reached No. 14. He also produced and recorded Maren Morris' song "Girl" in the Sound Emporium A room. "Girl" reached No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart.

Busbee was a long time member of the Sound Emporium family, and has been for as long as he lived in Nashville. He will be dearly missed.
