Covid-19 Precautions

We are aware that the safety of our clients and staff is of the utmost importance, so we wanted to make sure that everyone knows the precautions we are taking to keep everyone as safe as we possibly can.
We are continuing with the CDC recommended disinfecting protocols, as well as having every staff member take their temperature each morning before coming to work. We now have an infrared thermometer that is being used to take the temperature of people in the building, if a client requests it.
All staff members are wearing cloth face masks. As per the Metro Health Department’s mandate for all businesses, we are asking everyone who enters the building to also wear a cloth face mask – not a costume mask, or any other type mask. We take everyone’s safety very seriously and we hope you do, too. We have masks available if anyone needs one. There are signs posted at every entrance reminding everyone as they enter the building. We are also asking clients to please continue with the social distancing measures, as well. It is possible to safely distance and still have a successful recording session.

We have replaced all cloth microphone pop filters with metal mesh ones that are easier to sanitize after each use. We are using UV wands to disinfect the microphones, equipment and any other surfaces that cannot be wiped down with Clorox wipes or other disinfectants. We have hand sanitizer available for anyone who needs it, as well. In addition to all of that, we have replaced all AC filters with Merv13 filters, as recommended by the CDC for their superior filtering ability with this virus.

We are no longer putting out fresh fruit and biscuits or cookies and chips/crackers. All snacks are individually packaged versions now. Same for water. We have removed the water coolers in each room and replaced them with bottled water.

We are continually wiping down all hard surfaces as they are used (so when you take a lunch break, we go in and clean the commonly touched surfaces while you are gone). In addition to all of the CDC protocols, we installed a special air cleaner called a “Germ Guardian” for each control room and live room that uses UV light to filter the air and kill all airborne viruses as well as dust, allergens, etc. And at the end of each session, we are doing a very thorough sanitizing of the entire studio and all surfaces.

We are also asking clients to ask everyone that will be on the session if they have recently been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for Covid in the last few weeks, that they provide us with a negative Covid test. If someone on your session has recently recovered from Covid, we know that as per CDC guidelines, they are okay to resume their normal work after their quarantine period. We will just need the release from their Dr. or the Health Dept. for their area, who has released them to return to work.

As of this update, every staff member has received at least their first dose of the Covid 19 vaccine. All will be fully vaccinated by the end of April 2021.
